This position will be based in Liberec - Czech Republic. Travels in Europe will be required for the mission.

Role insight:

Directly reporting to the SAP Technology Leader, you will play a key role in building and operating a modern Data Fabric architecture. You will design and implement integrated data solutions connecting SAP and non-SAP systems, enabling real-time analytics and Business AI capabilities across the organization.

Responsibilities:

Design and implement Data Fabric architecture integrating SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, and non-SAP systems.

Develop data federation strategies to enable real-time data access without heavy ETL processes.

Build and maintain semantic models translating SAP data into business-friendly structures.

Configure and manage data flows, remote tables, and integrations in SAP Datasphere.

Prepare and transform SAP data for machine learning and AI applications.

Support AI use cases by building pipelines and managing metadata catalogues.

Work with SAP HANA Cloud, including performance optimization and query tuning.

Support transformation of BI landscape (SAP BW/BPC to SAP Business Data Cloud).

Ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability through automation and monitoring.

Contribute to development of planning and analytics solutions in SAP Analytics Cloud.

Collaborate with global teams and business stakeholders on data-driven use cases.

Support business solutions within SAP Analytics Cloud, Datasphere, and Databricks.

We seek:

Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, IT, or related field (or relevant experience)

Strong SQL skills (SELECT, JOIN, GROUP BY)

Good Excel skills for analysis and validation

Basic understanding of SAP systems and willingness to learn SAP Datasphere, Databricks, and SAC

Interest in cloud technologies and modern data platforms

Understanding of business processes (Finance is an advantage)

Ability to work with both structured enterprise systems and modern AI/ML concepts

Strong analytical and systemic thinking skills

Curiosity and proactive learning mindset

Ability to communicate complex topics clearly to both technical and business audiences

Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position

Very good English in verbal and written form
